Down syndrome support in Gurgaon is a long relationship rather than a course of treatment, and the honest framing matters: nothing here treats Down syndrome. What therapy does is build skills, and children with Down syndrome build a great many of them. The centre is in Gurgaon itself.

Our Gurugram centre

eMbrace Gurugram is at 710, DLF City Court, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Nathupur, Sector 24, Gurugram 122002. Guru Dronacharya on the Yellow Line is roughly 700 metres away, which makes this one of the few specialist child psychology services in Gurugram you can reach without a car.

That matters for families coming from DLF Phases 1 to 4, Sushant Lok, Sector 54 and the sectors around it, and it matters again for teenagers who would rather come to a session independently than be dropped off by a parent.

Delhi families sometimes choose Gurugram over our Delhi centres simply because the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road run is easier from where they live than crossing south Delhi. Either centre is fine, and the same pathway runs at both.

The pattern over years is intensive early, lighter later, with periodic returns at transition points: starting school, changing school, adolescence, and the move towards adult independence. Families often stop and restart with us, which is normal and expected rather than a failure of anything.

For parking, the nearest drop-off point and the quickest route at your particular time of day, ask on the intake call. Traffic and parking around every one of these centres change enough through the day that current directions from someone who works there beat anything we could fix on a web page.

What support usually covers

Priorities shift with age. In the early years the work is motor development, feeding and first communication. In the school years it becomes literacy, numeracy and classroom access. In adolescence it turns towards independence, self-care and what comes after school.

  • Physiotherapy for low muscle tone, motor milestones and posture
  • Speech and language therapy, often including signing alongside speech in the early years
  • Occupational therapy for fine motor, feeding and daily living skills
  • Special education, including reading, which children with Down syndrome frequently learn well

The detail sits on our Down syndrome support page.

How we start

With an assessment across all areas and a conversation about what you actually want next, which is a different question from what a textbook would prioritise. Goals are written as things your child will do rather than as scores, and reviewed as they grow.

We will not offer a prognosis. The range of outcomes is wide, and confident predictions in either direction have done a great deal of harm to families.

What we work on most

Gurugram families use assessment, psychology and occupational therapy on site, with physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and special education from our Delhi centres. Because this is a long relationship, we plan the geography once rather than renegotiating it every term.

Who you would see at our Gurugram centre

Dr Supriya Malik, Founder and CEO, and Head of the Child Development Centre at Rainbow

PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Birmingham, where she was also a postdoctoral researcher, and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society in the UK. She designed the assessment and therapy pathways every eMbrace centre runs.

At our Gurugram centre, the clinicians who take this work are:

Dr Agrima Aggarwal, Occupational Therapist

Dr Agrima Aggarwal is a PhD scholar in Occupational Therapy at Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology. She holds an MOT in Neurology from SVNIRTAR, Utkal University, where she was gold medallist, and a BOT from PDUNIPPD, University of Delhi. She works in paediatric occupational therapy and early intervention, alongside neurorehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation.

Which of them you see is decided on the intake call rather than by whoever has the next free slot, and you are told who it will be before you book. Fuller biographies are on our about page.

Schools and services we already work with

Support around Gurgaon extends well past therapy hours, and these are the organisations involved.

Through The Medical Travel Company we provide autism and ADHD assessment and therapy for families in the UK, across Africa and elsewhere in India, on hybrid, in-person and online programmes.

Since 2025 we have delivered corporate workshops with Atypical Advantage on inclusivity and neurodiversity, autism awareness and mental health awareness.

Fees and the long view

Fees are quoted upfront on your intake call and depend on which disciplines are involved and how often.

Over years the cost is not steady. Early intervention is the most intensive period; later years are frequently a review a term plus school liaison. We would rather set that expectation now than have you plan for a decade of weekly appointments that will not be needed.

Frequently asked questions

Assessment, psychology and occupational therapy on site. Physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and special education run from our Delhi centres.

Many children with Down syndrome do, and reading is often a relative strength. We would rather teach towards it than assume against it.

Not sure whether what you are seeing is a delay?

Our milestone checker asks eight age-specific questions and gives you a domain-by-domain snapshot — speech, motor, social, play and behaviour — on screen straight away. It will tell you plainly if your child is on track, and it comes with a free parent guide either way.
