Behaviour therapy in Gurgaon starts from a question rather than a technique: what is this behaviour achieving for the child? The centre is in Gurgaon itself. Behaviour that looks baffling is almost always doing a job, and the useful work is finding a better way for that job to get done.

Our Gurugram centre

eMbrace Gurugram is at 710, DLF City Court, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Nathupur, Sector 24, Gurugram 122002. Guru Dronacharya on the Yellow Line is roughly 700 metres away, which makes this one of the few specialist child psychology services in Gurugram you can reach without a car.

That matters for families coming from DLF Phases 1 to 4, Sushant Lok, Sector 54 and the sectors around it, and it matters again for teenagers who would rather come to a session independently than be dropped off by a parent.

Delhi families sometimes choose Gurugram over our Delhi centres simply because the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road run is easier from where they live than crossing south Delhi. Either centre is fine, and the same pathway runs at both.

Sessions are weekly or twice weekly, with parent training running alongside from the start rather than added later. Behaviour changes where it happens, which is at home and at school, so a programme nobody can run between sessions will not work however well designed it is.

For parking, the nearest drop-off point and the quickest route at your particular time of day, ask on the intake call. Traffic and parking around every one of these centres change enough through the day that current directions from someone who works there beat anything we could fix on a web page.

When behaviour therapy is the right approach

It suits behaviour that is frequent, entrenched and getting in the way of learning, safety or family life. It is the wrong starting point when nobody has yet asked why the behaviour is happening, which is why our work begins with observation rather than with a plan.

  • Behaviour that has not shifted with ordinary parenting approaches over months
  • Aggression or self-injury, which we would see promptly
  • Difficulty with transitions, routines or waiting that limits what a family can do
  • Skills a child could learn but has not, where teaching needs to be broken down

The clinical detail sits on our behaviour therapy page.

How a programme is built

Observation first, then a written account of what typically comes before the behaviour, what the behaviour is, and what follows it. From that we agree a small number of targets, the strategies to be used, and how progress will be recorded so it is judged on data rather than on impression.

Parent training runs alongside, because you are the person who will be there when it happens.

What we see most of

Gurugram families most often reach us for behaviour work through an autism programme, and the arrangement is usually a parent-delivered plan with online coaching plus periodic visits to Delhi. Behaviour that is difficult at home responds to what happens at home, which is why this works better than the distance suggests.

Who you would see at our Gurugram centre

Dr Supriya Malik, Founder and CEO, and Head of the Child Development Centre at Rainbow

PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Birmingham, where she was also a postdoctoral researcher, and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society in the UK. She designed the assessment and therapy pathways every eMbrace centre runs.

Our behaviour therapy team is based at the Delhi centres. Gurugram families work with us there, or run a parent-delivered programme with online coaching, which for behaviour work is not a lesser option: most of the change happens at home regardless of where the sessions are.

Schools and services we already work with

Behaviour work around Gurgaon usually forms part of a wider programme, and these are the settings it connects to.

Through The Medical Travel Company we provide autism and ADHD assessment and therapy for families in the UK, across Africa and elsewhere in India, on hybrid, in-person and online programmes.

Since 2025 we have delivered corporate workshops with Atypical Advantage on inclusivity and neurodiversity, autism awareness and mental health awareness.

Fees, review, and what we will not promise

Fees are quoted upfront on your intake call and depend on frequency and on whether parent training runs separately.

Progress is reviewed against recorded data on a set date. We will not promise a number of hours or an outcome, and we would be cautious about anyone who does. Where a behaviour is serving a purpose, the honest goal is a better route to that purpose, not simple suppression of it.

Frequently asked questions

Our behaviour therapy team is based at the Delhi centres. Gurugram families travel in, or run a parent-delivered programme with online coaching.

For behaviour work it often works better, because behaviour changes where it happens. Most of the change occurs at home regardless of where sessions are held.

Aggression and self-injury we would see promptly. Say so on the intake call and we will prioritise it.

Against recorded data on a set review date, so it is judged on what was actually counted rather than on anyone’s impression of a good week.

Not sure whether what you are seeing is a delay?

Our milestone checker asks eight age-specific questions and gives you a domain-by-domain snapshot — speech, motor, social, play and behaviour — on screen straight away. It will tell you plainly if your child is on track, and it comes with a free parent guide either way.
